Anniversary - guess where we ate?
So you start with some store-bought hankies and a little thread...
And a VERYskinny needle....
...and you end up with some lovely old-fashioned tatted hankies. "Something borrowed, something blue".
I'm now working on this one - I'm not a purple person, but I really like it.
I thought this one would be too "busy", and although it's not my favorite, now that it's blocked and ironed, I kind of like it.
i love the purple one! this looks so complicated... and yet of course, you master it in one fell swoop.
ReplyDeletei think we were born a century or two too late.... i wish i could do handcrafts, reading, (netflix), and canning all day long!
